What the site keeps
North Coast Saltwater is a set of static pages. Reading an entry leaves the standard access record of the host: the address a request came from, the time, the page requested and the browser string. Those records exist for security and for finding faults, and they are held by the host.
A message sent to contact@theexperiencesaltwatercharters.com is kept for the exchange it belongs to. The address is used to answer the question. A reader who writes a correction or a source is named in the entry only if the reader asks to be.
A correction or a removal
A reader may write to the same address to ask for a correction to an entry, or for the removal of personal data. The desk handles both by email. A correction that changes an entry is dated on the day it is checked. A removal request is acted on once the identity of the writer is confirmed.
